Lead 2030 Challenge Winner

Smart Cheli has been selected as the winner of the One Young World Lead2030 challenge for SDG 4 to reduce gender disparities supported by Bristol Myers Squibb. As the winner of the Lead2030 Challenge for SDG4 supported by Bristol Myers Squibb, Smart Cheli will receive $50,000 and 12 months of expert mentorship to help accelerate their impact. With this support, we aim to scale our impact in bridging the gender gap in the STEM field.

Power of Radiance Award 2020

Our CEO has been awarded one of the prestigious awards Power of Radiance 2020 for her contributions toward girls' STEM education. This is a program by Clé de Peau Beauté and Unicef. Unicef nominates the potential candidate from all over the world and both teams select a winner.

Scratch Education Collaborative Global Partner

The Scratch Foundation has invited Smart Cheli to participate in the 2022-2024 Cohort of the Scratch Education Collaborative (SEC) as a global partner in order to provide a lasting impact on defining the shape and direction of our collective goals towards greater access and opportunities for equity-centered creative coding

Pratt & Whitney Global E-STEM Award 2023

Smart Cheli was selected by Pratt & Whitney and the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) as a winner of the 2023 Pratt & Whitney Global E-STEM Awards. A panel of judges from Pratt & Whitney and NAAEE selected the recipients from a pool of over 150 applicants spanning 40 countries. The winners were publicly announced on October 17 at the NAAEE Annual Conference.

Youth Digital Champions

Our Program Director has been selected as one of the gold medalists for YOUTH DIGITAL CHAMPIONS (YDC) by the Mobiles for Education Alliance in celebration of International Youth Day, 2021. Youth Digital Champions initiative has been initiated to build upon youth interest and passion in digital technologies to strengthen community development and self-reliance efforts in lower resource and developing countries.

Science Outreach Shortlist

Nature Inspiring Women in Science Award In September 2021, we have been shortlisted for the top 5 global initiatives for the Inspiring Women in Science Award by Nature in the science outreach category. During this program, we got six weeks long mentorship from Estee Laude and Nature team on Authentic Leadership, Networking, and, Personal Branding.
